French Essentials App Reviews

After vacationing in CanadaI became fascinated with the French language. I downloaded this app. Ive been trying to figure out how to use it all night. There are no instructions. It is useless.

After reading some of the reviews, I said, "Hey, Why not?" I need to learn some French for my classes, and this helped me brush up on it. One negative thing came out of it though- in quizzes mode, there should be sentances, for even more complicated learning. That Is what French is about, no? Not just learning words, but sentances, paragraphs, assignments! Please add sentances to the great app! :)

Dumb and not fun. It is like so not worth it I looked at some good reviews and thought I should try it and I was so dissipointed this ap stinks

I thought this app was great until I came across some errors, for example in the flashcards "red pepper" & "black pepper" have two differents words for pepper. This is unacceptable - please fix this.

Piment rouge is a red pepper such as those in salsa. Poivre noir is black pepper such as you would sprinkle on food. The flash cards are correct.

terrible app. not worth even free. I thought this would be good to help me with some basic French skills: flashcards, basic grammar, etc. The app wouldnt even progress past ONE word. Deleted it.

Great I us it to talk to my parents

This is a great app for beginners like moi. I wish it had verbs though, but for basic words and phrases it is an amazing app. The paid version is x10 better. It has like 20 catergiors. But still no verbs. If you want to learn Français... Get this app. Its so easy to use. But just be aware that there is no verbs. But overall amazing <33

This is a great app i am learning french real fast! i can count to vignt (20)now and i just got this app yesterday!

I never got the app and your "report the problem" in your e-mail informing me about getting the app is also not working! I also cant go back and try to get it again

I most definetly recomend this app 4 beginers nd ppl trying 2 freshen up on their French! Definetly 5 stars worthy

In order to repeat the sound of the word you have to push the smallest arrow on lower left corner which doesnt register your finger if u dont exactly hit it. Its FRUSTRATING

This app is really awesome! I was taking French classes and this made it somuch eaisier!!! I lOvE the TrANslAtOr! Please make it work without wifi! :)

Please change months to the correct form of lowercase. French months are not capitalized. Other than that, this is great.

I would give it 5 stars only if u ht Irish/ Gaelic on here!!!!!!! Im irish and i need a way to learn gaelic but no one has a app for it!!! Please make an app for Gaelic
